Jack Vandeventer is the Founder and President of Kontor International, LLC and a Founding Principal of CompeteIndiana, LLC. Jack retired from Eli Lilly and Company in 2005 completing more than 27 years in management including clinical trial sourcing, supplier relationship management, bulk chemical production procurement and production planning, training and development, plant science research and development, and scientific materials sourcing. Jack’s group sourced the first three global clinical trial business relationships that narrowed the clinical trial sourcing to key business partners, arranged specifications development, pricing models, relationship management metrics, business review methodology, and negotiated global contracts. Jack’s consulting centers around supplier relationship management, executive team formation and management, and negotiating key business arrangements. Jack established supplier performance metrics for an Indiana state government department responsible for mental health. He has negotiated key agreements entities such as privately owned businesses, insurance training companies and pharma companies. He has consulted in state government, private entities, oil and gas, training and development, and management operations in the US, Canada, Europe, and Africa.

Jack holds a lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager designation, is a Master Certified Flight Instructor, has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Indiana University, a Master of Science from Southern Illinois University, and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University.
