KEN MARTLAGE FOUNDING PRINCIPAL
Ken Martlage is Founder and President of Phoenix Images, Inc., and Founding Principal of CompeteIndiana, LLC. At the time of his retirement from Eli Lilly in 2000, Ken had completed 28 years of experience in a variety of management roles in Human Resources, Research and Development, Product Development, Manufacturing, Clinical Trials, Industrial Health and Safety, and Training and Development. Ken also developed a department focused on coaching trust, communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills in collaborative team environments. Since 2000 he has continued that focus with his local and global business clients in for-profit, not-for-profit, religious, and governmental arenas. Ken’s consulting expertise centers around helping local and international companies focus on trust, communication, relationship development and conflict resolution as they provide a competitive advantage to the business. Ken is well-known as a seasoned team facilitator and executive coach with extensive international experience. In addition to Ken’s proprietary material, he has certifications and extensive international experience with Myers Briggs Type Indicator, FIRO-B, and Asherman Successful Negotiator models.
Ken taught basic physiology, biology and zoology for 11 years as an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. He has also served as a valued member of a Governor-appointed State consortium as well as a National Board charged with the development of technical workforce performance standards. |
